Role Description As a Full-Time Full Stack Engineer at Ledgent.AI, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power our AI-driven accounts payable platform. You will work closely with product, data, and AI teams to build scalable APIs, integrate services, and create intuitive user interfaces for finance users. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, ensuring code quality through testing and reviews, and contributing to secure, resilient cloud-native architectures. You will also collaborate on technical design, handle production issues, and participate in continuous improvement of development practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building production-grade web applications.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful API design, database integration, and server-side frameworks.
- Experience in Front-End Development, using modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create responsive, accessible interfaces.
- Ability to integrate front-end and back-end components into cohesive Full-Stack solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in fintech, accounting, or AI-driven products is a plus.
What you’ll work on
• Build and enhance our web application using React / Next.js
• Develop backend APIs using Python / FastAPI / Azure Functions
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into accounting workflows
• Work with Azure, databases, APIs and cloud services
• Build production-ready features from frontend to backend
• Debug, improve and optimize existing application workflows
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and the founder to ship features quickly
What we’re looking for
✅ 2–3 years of hands-on full-stack development experience
✅ Strong React / Next.js + Python skills
✅ Experience building and consuming REST APIs
✅ Good understanding of databases and backend development
✅ Experience with Azure or another cloud platform
✅ Familiarity with Git/GitHub
✅ Interest in GenAI / LLM applications is a strong plus
✅ Startup mindset — ability to take ownership and move fast
