Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Fresher Pastry & Bakery Chef. The role involves assisting in preparing and baking breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items according to recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include measuring ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, decorating pastries, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The chef will support senior bakers, help with inventory checks, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. The role also requires following hygiene and safety protocols, learning new techniques, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess basic skills in Bakery and Baking, with a strong interest in pastry preparation and learning new techniques.
- Candidates should possess Creativity Skills to design, decorate, and present baked products attractively.
- Candidates should possess strong Hygiene and food safety practices, including cleanliness and proper handling of ingredients.
- Candidates should possess foundational Cooking skills and an understanding of kitchen operations.
- Relevant culinary or bakery certification or diploma is preferred but not mandatory for freshers.
- Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude toward colleagues and customers.
