Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista Internship role based in Gurugram. The intern will assist in preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and other cafe beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include operating coffee equipment, and ensuring the workstation and customer areas are clean and organized. The role also involves greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and providing friendly, efficient customer service. The intern will work closely with the team to learn barista techniques, maintain hygiene and safety guidelines, and support smooth café operations during peak and off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess barista skills or a strong interest in learning coffee preparation and beverage crafting.
- Candidates should possess customer service and interpersonal skills for engaging positively with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills for taking orders, coordinating with the team, and handling guest inquiries.
- Candidates should possess basic food preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Prior café or hospitality experience is an advantage but not required.
- Minimum educational background at the high school level or equivalent; hospitality-related studies are a plus.
