Job Description
Batangarh – a fast-growing, independent platform committed to fearless, people-centric reporting – is looking for enthusiastic News Reporter who are passionate about Bollywood, entertainment journalism, celebrity culture, and public interaction.
The role involves interacting directly with audiences, gathering public opinions on entertainment-related topics, covering movie releases and promotional events, and reporting on the latest developments from the entertainment industry. We are looking for energetic individuals who can confidently engage with people, capture authentic reactions, and create engaging ground-level entertainment content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and cover pressing local public problems.
2. Conduct on-the-spot interviews with ordinary citizens in streets, markets, colonies, and public spaces.
3. Record their honest opinions, experiences, and suggestions.
4. Produce complete, engaging video reports of minimum 8–10 minutes length and it should have 7-8 public bytes.
5. Deliver clear audio/video, obtain verbal consent where needed, maintain balance and factual accuracy.
6. Reporting should be done in Hindi Language only.
Eligibility Criteria.
1. Graduation in Mass Communication (Pursuing).
2. Smartphone (or basic camera) with good recording quality.
3. Confidence to approach and interview strangers respectfully.
4. Passion for entertainment journalism, Bollywood news, and public-interest reporting.
5. Good communication and presentation skills.
6. Basic understanding of social media trends and viral content is preferred.
