About Finnulate
Finnulate AI is an AI-native Compliance Operating System for regulated financial institutions. The platform is live, deployed with regulated BFSI clients, and building fast. We're looking for a Founding Tech Partner to take architectural ownership of the platform's next chapter, including our proprietary Small Language Model, which is central to how Finnulate will operate across every layer of the product going forward.
The Role
This is a founding-level technical leadership role, not a staff-augmentation position. You will own platform architecture, lead AI/ML development, and drive the 2.0 build, working directly with the Founder.
What You'll Own
Platform architecture and technical roadmap
AI/ML pipeline: NLP, obligation extraction, and our on-premise Small Language Model track
Backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure
Code quality, security posture, and deployment standards
Coordination with our existing development partnership as in-house capability expands
What We're Looking For
Strong NLP fundamentals, including model fine-tuning, embeddings, and evaluation, not limited to prompt engineering or third-party API integration. Exposure to on-premise or private model deployment is a strong plus, directly relevant to our proprietary SLM roadmap.
8 to 14 years of software engineering experience, with 3 or more years in a technical leadership role
Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Startup or scale-up experience is a strong advantage
Product instinct, not just engineering execution
Compensation
Reasonable fixed salary, performance-linked variable, and an equity stake vesting over three years.
Location
Delhi-NCR preferred, hybrid. Not mandatory for the right profile.
