Role Description As a Founding Engineer (AI + Full Stack) at SentioCare, you will design, build, and maintain the core product stack, including AI-driven voice workflows, backend services, and caregiver-facing interfaces. You will architect and implement scalable APIs, integrate telephony and messaging platforms, and optimize data pipelines for symptom analysis and alerts. Day-to-day work includes collaborating closely with the founding team on product decisions, rapidly prototyping features, improving reliability and security, and setting engineering best practices. You will also be responsible for monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and iterating based on user feedback from elders, families, and care providers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, where you will help shape the technical culture and long-term roadmap of the company.
Qualifications
- Strong full-stack development skills, ideally with experience in modern backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, or similar) and frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Experience with AI/ML workflows, such as NLP, speech or voice processing, symptom analysis models, or integrating AI services into production systems.
- Proficiency in designing and working with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and message-based integrations (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS, or telephony platforms).
- Background in building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) with attention to monitoring, logging, and deployment automation.
- Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions, with strong product thinking, ownership mentality, and comfort in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with non-technical stakeholders and caregivers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior startup or founding engineer experience is a plus.

Compensation :
₹10,000/month (Stipend)
We're an early-stage startup and want to be transparent about our current budget. While the stipend is modest, you'll work directly with the founders, own critical technical decisions, and have the opportunity to grow into a long-term leadership role as the company scales. Outstanding contributors may also be considered for future equity discussions.
