Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Atlassian role based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves administering and configuring Atlassian tools (such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, JSM and related plugins) to support software development, project management, and collaboration workflows. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining custom workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports; managing user access and permissions; and ensuring platform stability, performance, and security. The role also entails partnering with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand requirements, implement best practices, and drive process improvements using Atlassian solutions. The Atlassian specialist will need to document configurations, provide user training and support, and coordinate upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket) including configuration, workflow design, dashboards, and reporting.
- Skills in requirements gathering and process analysis to translate business needs into effective Atlassian solutions and governance standards.
- Familiarity with integrations between Atlassian products and CI/CD or DevOps tools, and basic understanding of APIs or scripting for automation.
- Ability to manage user provisioning, permissions, security settings, and platform maintenance, including backups and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams, deliver user training, and produce clear documentation.
- Experience working in technology-driven environments, ideally within BFSI or ERP domains, is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Administration) or prior Atlassian specialist roles are highly beneficial.
