About Us: The Prashraya Welfare Foundation (Team Aashraya) is one of India's leading youth-led Section 8 registered non-profit organizations. Driven by 10,000+ youth volunteers across 20+ states, we apply systems thinking and grassroots action to democratize education, empower women, and provide basic amenities to underserved communities.
We are seeking dedicated, high-agency interns to join the Founder's Office. This role is ideal for ambitious individuals looking to gain frontline leadership experience, understand institutional governance, and work directly alongside the Founder to drive nationwide social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Assistance to the Founder:
- Support the Founder in daily organizational management and high-level decision-making.
- Prepare strategic briefs and agendas for executive meetings, and drive the execution of key action items across departments.
2. Pan-India Team Coordination:
- Facilitate seamless communication and leadership alignment among regional volunteer teams operating across 20+ states.
- Assist in tracking project milestones, managing workflows, and ensuring critical operational deadlines are met.
3. Impact Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records and data tracking for ongoing initiatives (including Aashraya Vidhyalayas, Digital Centers, and Pad Banks).
- Draft professional quarterly impact reports, concept notes, and presentations for institutional partners and CSR boards.
4. External Communications and Partnerships:
- Manage high-priority correspondence and incoming institutional inquiries on behalf of the Founder.
- Draft, edit, and proofread official communications, policy briefs, and outreach letters directed at CSR heads, administrative officers, and corporate donors.
5. Research and Strategic Analysis:
- Conduct data-driven research to support new project development, regional expansion, and fundraising strategies.
- Analyze ground-level project data to provide actionable insights for organizational growth.
6. Operational and Administrative Support:
- Assist in streamlining internal office operations and volunteer management systems.
- Take ownership of special, fast-turnaround projects and initiatives directly assigned by the Founder.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft crisp, professional executive emails and reports.
- High agency and problem-solving mindset: ability to operate independently and take initiative without constant micromanagement.
- Genuine passion for grassroots social work, education equity, and community development.
- Previous leadership experience in college societies, E-cells, internships, or NGO management is a plus.
Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any field. Students from premier institutes are strongly encouraged to apply.
