Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role oversees daily food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and banquet services, to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction, product quality, and service consistency. The Food and Beverage Manager will manage teams, coordinate staffing and scheduling, monitor inventory and ordering, and support menu planning in collaboration with culinary leadership. This role also involves managing budgets, controlling costs, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintaining brand standards across all food and beverage outlets. The manager will work closely with other departments to support events, optimize revenue, and address guest feedback in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage operations, including restaurant or hotel F&B management, banquet service, and bar supervision.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to train, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
- Operational and administrative skills, including scheduling, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local health regulations relevant to hospitality operations.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and peak business hours.
- Previous experience in an international hotel brand or upscale hospitality environment is preferred.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
