Role Description The Financial Center Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the local center and supporting regional growth. Day-to-day tasks include managing cash flow and daily reconciliations, monitoring store-level revenue and expenses, and preparing periodic financial reports and analyses. This role involves implementing and maintaining financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Financial Center Manager will collaborate with store managers and operations teams to optimize financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support inventory and vendor payment processes. The role also includes supervising finance and accounting support staff, improving processes, and using financial data to guide operational decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial management, budgeting, and cost control, with the ability to interpret and act on financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting, including experience with accounting or ERP software.
- Experience in cash flow management, revenue tracking, and expense monitoring in a retail, FMCG, or multi-location environment.
- Ability to develop and enforce financial processes and controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide and support finance and operations staff.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Comfort with on-site work in Indore, including hands-on engagement with stores, operations teams, and local processes.
- Experience in retail or convenience store operations, and familiarity with inventory, billing, and vendor management is beneficial.
