About the Role
Desun Hospital, Siliguri is looking for a Finance & Accounts professional to support day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and audit-related activities.
The role will involve working closely with the hospital's finance and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial operations and effective compliance with applicable requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ledger maintenance, and financial records.
- Prepare MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
- Support GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documentation.
- Process vendor payments and support payroll-related finance activities.
- Coordinate with hospital departments and administrative teams on finance-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls, processes, and SOPs.
- Ensure finance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and organisational policies.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally Prime is preferred.
- Experience with ERP or hospital management systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple finance-related activities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA, CA Inter with B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or compliance.
- Candidates with relevant experience in healthcare or hospital finance will be preferred.
