Role Description The Finance Trainer Beginner will deliver foundational training in finance concepts to learners in classroom and lab settings, ensuring content is aligned with industry requirements and VocSkill’s curriculum standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting interactive sessions, explaining core finance topics (such as financial statements, budgeting, and basic investment principles), and using practical examples and case studies to reinforce understanding. The role involves assessing learner performance through assignments and tests, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learners in building job-ready skills. The trainer will collaborate with academic and industry partners to keep course content current, participate in curriculum enhancements, and maintain training records and reports. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in finance and accounting, including basic financial management, financial statements, budgeting, and investment fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess skills in training delivery and instruction, such as lesson planning, classroom facilitation, learner engagement, and assessment of learner progress.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, the ability to explain complex concepts simply, and a learner-centered approach.
- Candidates should possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, develop examples, and address learner queries with practical insights.
- Candidates should possess comfort with digital tools used in training environments, such as presentation software, learning management systems, and online resources.
- Helpful qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; prior tutoring or teaching experience; familiarity with EdTech platforms; and an interest in emerging areas such as FinTech, Business Analytics, and AI-enabled financial tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate a growth mindset, willingness to learn and upgrade skills, professionalism in conduct, and the ability to work collaboratively with academic and industry stakeholders.
