Role Description The Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering interactive training sessions that build students’ communication, interpersonal, and life skills. Day-to-day tasks include preparing training materials, conducting classroom workshops, facilitating group activities, and assessing participants’ progress through feedback and evaluations. The trainer will collaborate with academic and placement teams to align training content with industry expectations and support students’ employability and professional growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the IBIS campus in Kannur North, requiring regular in-person engagement with learners and staff.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Soft Skills and Communication abilities, including active listening and clear, professional speaking.
- Candidates should possess effective Presentation Skills to deliver engaging sessions using visual aids and interactive methods.
- Candidates should possess Training & Development expertise, including curriculum design, session planning, and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess Life Skills coaching capabilities, such as time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional etiquette.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, Communication, or a related field; a teaching or training certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a trainer, faculty member, or corporate soft skills coach, preferably working with students or early-career professionals.
- Ability to engage diverse groups, adapt content to different learning levels, and use modern training tools and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, professional conduct, and willingness to work on-site at Kannur North with a flexible schedule as needed.
