Role Description The Field Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Parwanoo Himachal Pradesh . In this role, the professional will visit local merchants and businesses to promote PAYTM’s products and services, onboard new clients, and support them in setting up and using payment solutions. Daily activities include meeting sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, collecting customer feedback, and maintaining strong relationships with existing merchants. The Field Sales Executive will also coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, ensure timely documentation, and report on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with merchants and internal stakeholders.
- Proven aptitude for field sales, including negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic understanding of digital payments, mobile applications, or financial services, with willingness to learn product features in detail.
- Ability to work independently in an on-site, target-driven environment and manage time efficiently across multiple client visits.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Comfort with using smartphones, apps, and simple reporting tools; familiarity with MS Office or similar software is beneficial.
- Prior experience in field sales, retail, or merchant onboarding is mandatory.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, customer service, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
