Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Engineer role based in Zirakpur Punjab, India. The Field Engineer will support implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing solutions at client locations, including production facilities and training sites. Responsibilities include installing and configuring equipment and systems, conducting tests and inspections, documenting technical issues, and providing timely resolutions. The role also involves working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, training end users on system operation, and reporting on field activities and performance metrics. The Field Engineer is expected to adhere to safety standards, maintain accurate records, and travel within the region as required.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, or industrial engineering, with the ability to understand and apply technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, automation systems, or digital manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, basic software applications, and data collection methods to analyze system performance and identify issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, trainers, and cross-functional teams, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time and priorities, and maintain detailed records of site visits, work performed, and outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Willingness to travel within Uttar Pradesh and occasionally to other locations, with flexibility to work in industrial and training environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field; prior experience in manufacturing, automation, or skill development projects is an advantage.
