Role Description The Field Engineer role at R S VISION is a full-time, hybrid position based in Hardoi, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks such as remote diagnostics, documentation, and coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, gaming rigs, networking equipment, and CCTV setups at customer locations. The Field Engineer will perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs, providing clear guidance to customers on system use and maintenance. The role also involves coordinating with the shop and support team to schedule visits, manage service requests, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The Field Engineer will document work performed, maintain accurate records of equipment and service history, and contribute to continuous improvement of field service processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for computer hardware, software, networking, and CCTV systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and customer service skills to explain technical issues clearly and build trust with clients.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs in varied customer environments.
- Candidates should possess basic Project Management abilities to plan visits, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with internal teams.
- Relevant technical education (diploma or degree in electronics, IT, computer science, or related field) is preferred.
- Ability to travel locally within Hardoi and surrounding areas and work safely with tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, common office and security software, and basic networking concepts (routers, switches, cabling).
- Strong problem-solving mindset, reliability, and ability to work independently in a hybrid on-site and remote setup.
