Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty role based in Chandigarh, India, teaching Accounting and Finance in the MBA program at RiseKraft. The faculty member will design and deliver courses in core and elective areas of Accounting and Finance, including lectures, case discussions, projects, and assessments. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi and teaching materials aligned with program outcomes, evaluating student performance, and providing academic support and mentoring. The role involves continuous curriculum enhancement to reflect current industry practices, participating in academic committees, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes. The faculty member is also expected to engage in research, industry interaction, and institutional development activities that strengthen the MBA program and student employability.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, including financial reporting, management accounting, corporate finance, and investment/financial analysis.
- Proven ability to design and deliver MBA-level courses using modern, experiential, and outcome-based teaching methods.
- Skill in using educational technologies and digital tools, including learning management systems and data/financial software relevant to business education.
- Capability to guide projects, internships, and research work, and to integrate industry trends and real-world cases into teaching.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills, with a focus on inclusive and student-centered learning.
- Master’s degree or higher (e.g., MBA, M.Com, or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline; PhD or professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated academic or industry experience in business, finance, or consulting, and ability to collaborate with corporate partners.
- Commitment to ethical practices, continuous professional development, and contributing to the institute’s academic and community initiatives.
