About Manastu
Manastu Space is an Indian space-tech company founded by IIT Bombay alumni Tushar Jadhav and Ashtesh Kumar. It develops hydrogen peroxide-based green propulsion systems for satellites and launch vehicles that enable safer manoeuvring that is cost-effective and helps in debris collision avoidance with sustainable end-of-life deorbiting, thus address the growing needs and challenges of an increasingly crowded space environment.
Our work sits at the intersection of advanced engineering, applied research and mission-critical systems, requiring deep technical capability and long-term thinking.

Role Objective
Protecting Founders time, managing the flow of information, and ensuring the highest-priority work moves forward without friction, so the founder can focus on strategy, fundraising, and technology.
Role Overview
A high-trust, high-ownership role at the center of a fast-moving deep-tech company. You will manage the founder’s calendar, communications, travel, and priorities while acting as gatekeeper, coordinator, and problem-solver across internal teams and external stakeholders — investors, board members, government and space-agency contacts, partners, and vendors. The role demands discretion, sharp judgment, and the ability to operate independently as priorities shift with mission and funding timelines.
Why This Role is Critical for Us
The Founder time is the most leveraged resource in an early-stage space company. A world-class Executive Assistant turns chaos into order, ensures nothing critical slips, and becomes the reliable execution layer around the founder
Key Responsibilities
Calendar & Time Management
- Own and optimize the founder’s calendar; schedule and prioritize meetings, resolve conflicts, and protect deep-work time.
- Prepare the founder for every meeting with agendas, briefing notes, and background on attendees, across time zones.
Communication & Correspondence
- Triage the inbox; draft, review, and respond to emails and messages on the founder’s behalf.
- Act as the first point of contact for the founder’s office; screen and route requests, filtering what needs attention.
- Draft high-quality internal notes, external correspondence, investor updates, and presentation content.
Meeting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate leadership, board, and investor meetings; prepare materials and capture minutes, decisions, and action items.
- Track follow-ups to closure, holding internal owners accountable to deadlines on the founder’s behalf.
- Manage communication with high-value stakeholders (investors, board, government contacts, partners) with professionalism and discretion.
Travel & Logistics
- Plan complex domestic and international travel — flights, visas, accommodation, transport, and detailed itineraries.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences, launches, site visits, and off-sites; manage expenses and reimbursements.
Operations & Project Support
- Maintain organized, confidential filing of documents and records; prepare reports and decks for reviews and updates.
Office & Personal Support
- Manage select personal tasks and appointments; liaise with finance, HR, legal, and admin to close loops.
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems before they escalate.
Experience & Background
- 2–6 years as an Executive Assistant or in a similar high-responsibility role, ideally supporting a founder or C-level executive.
- Experience in a startup, deep-tech, or high-growth environment preferred; interest in space/technology is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with a proven track record of handling confidential information discreetly.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Exceptional organizer: manages many moving parts without dropping details.
- Strong communicator: clear, professional writing and speech; comfortable with senior stakeholders.
- Proactive & anticipatory: thinks two steps ahead and solves problems before being asked.
- High judgment & discretion: knows what to escalate and what to own; guards confidentiality.
- Calm under pressure: thrives in a fast-paced, shifting-priorities environment.
- Tech-fluent & ownership-driven: proficient with calendar, email, and productivity tools; treats the founder’s priorities as their own.
What Success Looks Like in this role
- The founder’s time stays focused on the highest-leverage work; low-value tasks are absorbed or eliminated.
- Nothing critical slips — meetings, follow-ups, and commitments are tracked and closed reliably.
- Stakeholders experience the founder’s office as responsive, organized, and professional.
- Within the first few months, you become the trusted operational backbone the founder relies on daily.
