Job Description:
The medical writer job involves developing high-quality scientific content and documentation across therapeutic areas. This includes conducting in-depth literature reviews, synthesizing data, and delivering clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate materials. The role contributes to both short- and long-term projects in consumer healthcare and pharmaceuticals, ensuring adherence to high medical writing standards while maintaining quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive secondary research/literature reviews and prepare overarching summaries using effective search strategies across scientific databases.
- Analyze and interpret clinical and scientific data to extract actionable insights.
- Stay current with trends, treatment guidelines, and regulatory updates in both OTC and Rx domains.
- Leverage scientific expertise to create high-quality communication materials in the OTC and Rx space in this Medical Writer Job in Haryana.
- Prepare, review, and edit a range of scientific documents, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Review medical, promotional, and scientific materials in accordance with internal SOPs and external guidelines at WNS Careers.
- Collaborate with medical writing colleagues, the graphics team, and clients as needed.
- Actively mentor team members to support effective task execution and goal achievement in this Non-Clinical Job.
Eligibility Criteria For The Medical Writer Job:
- Education: MBBS / BDS / MDS
- Total Experience: 3+ years in the corporate sector
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, OTC, and consumer healthcare landscape.
- Clear grasp of medical, scientific, and statistical terminology and concepts.
- Proven experience in scientific writing and literature analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and effective time management.
Required Skills For The Medical Writer Job:
- Robust knowledge of various types of clinical studies and manuscript types.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and online research tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with reference management and statistical tools is a plus.
