Reports To- Production Manager / Plant Manager
Job Purpose
To supervise and execute manufacturing activities as per approved procedures, ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with GMP and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing of products according to approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
Weigh and dispense raw materials as per formulation requirements.
Monitor mixing, blending, heating, cooling, and filling operations.
Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
Maintain production records and batch documentation.
Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) departments.
Monitor equipment cleaning and line clearance activities.
Report any deviations, breakdowns, or quality issues to management.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the production area.
Assist in process improvements and new product trials.
Educational Qualification:-B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry B.Pharm./M.Pharm. (preferred for pharmaceutical manufacturing)
Experience:- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations.
Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or personal care manufacturing preferred.
Skills Required
Knowledge of GMP and SOP compliance.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Team management and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Production target achievement.
Batch rejection and deviation control.
Compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Reduction in manufacturing downtime.
Accurate documentation and reporting.
