Role Overview
WCMS Investment Solutions is looking for an experienced Event & Partnerships Manager to conceptualize, plan and execute high-quality business and financial events involving MSME & SME business owners, investors, industry experts, fund managers, financial professionals and strategic partners.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in financial services events, investment summits, investor meets, business conferences or similar B2B events.
Candidates with previous experience at PMS Bazaar or similar PMS/AIF, wealth management, alternative investment, investment-event or financial-services organizations will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute WCMS conferences, investor meets, MSME events, workshops and networking events.
- Develop the complete event plan from concept to post-event follow-up.
- Identify and approach speakers, investors, fund managers, industry leaders and strategic partners.
- Manage speaker invitations, confirmations and coordination.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities and approach potential sponsors/partners.
- Coordinate venue selection, vendors, branding, AV, registration, hospitality and event logistics.
- Work with the marketing team on LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, social media and event promotions.
- Build and manage databases of MSME owners, investors, HNIs, financial professionals and other relevant participants.
- Drive event registrations and qualified attendance.
- Coordinate panel discussions, speaker sessions, networking activities and event agendas.
- Manage event budgets, timelines and vendor negotiations.
- Handle attendee communication before and after events.
- Track registrations, attendance, partnerships, leads and event ROI.
- Support post-event lead nurturing with the WCMS business development team.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 3–7 years preferred.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in PMS/AIF platforms, wealth management firms, investment conferences, financial services, alternate investments, investor relations or B2B financial events.
The candidate should have strong existing exposure to the financial ecosystem and preferably have connections with fund managers, investors, HNIs, AMCs, wealth managers, business owners, speakers, sponsors or financial-industry professionals.
Strong communication, negotiation, networking, vendor management and event execution skills are essential.
Preferred Background
Priority will be given to candidates who have worked with organizations such as PMS Bazaar or similar alternative-investment / wealth-management / financial-event platforms.
Experience organizing PMS/AIF summits, investor conferences, wealth events, MSME conferences, fund-manager sessions, financial conclaves or corporate networking events will be a major advantage.
