Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Equity Trader/Dealer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a stock brokerage firm, broker-dealer, or SEBI-registered broking organization. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian equity markets and practical experience in NSE/BSE trade execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute equity trades on NSE and BSE and manage buy/sell orders.
- Monitor Nifty, Sensex, sectors, and stock movements to identify trading opportunities.
- Perform technical and fundamental analysis to support trading decisions.
- Monitor positions, exposure, margins, risk limits, and daily P&L.
- Provide market insights and trading recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate trading records and coordinate with risk, compliance, and settlement teams.
- Ensure adherence to SEBI, NSE, and BSE regulations.
Mandatory Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a stock brokerage/broker-dealer/SEBI-registered broking firm.
- Direct experience as an Equity Trader or Equity Dealer.
- Strong knowledge of NSE, BSE, Nifty, Sensex, and Indian equity markets.
- Hands-on experience with trading terminals, OMS, and order execution systems.
- Knowledge of technical analysis and trading strategies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills under time pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
Preferred
- NISM certification relevant to equity trading/dealing.
- Experience with institutional, proprietary, or high-volume trading desks.
- Prior experience with a SEBI-registered stock broker/dealer.
