Role Description The EOT Remote Crane Operator will be responsible for safely operating electric overhead traveling cranes using remote controls for lifting, moving, and placing heavy loads within the facility. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-operation checks, monitoring equipment performance, following standard operating procedures, and coordinating with ground staff to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations. The role involves maintaining basic records of lifts, reporting equipment issues, and supporting routine inspections to keep cranes and lifting gear in proper working condition. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, and is intended for local candidates able to work from the designated facility.
Qualifications
- Experience in safe lifting operations, including planning and executing lifts in compliance with safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment and lifting equipment used in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of crane operation and control, specifically EOT cranes, and familiarity with different types of cranes.
- Ability to perform basic inspection and routine checks on cranes and lifting gear to identify and report defects.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, load charts, signaling, and communication with ground personnel.
- Prior experience as an EOT or overhead crane operator in an industrial setting is strongly preferred.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in crane operation or material handling will be an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions, remain alert during repetitive tasks, and work collaboratively in a shift-based environment.
