Role Description The Jewellery CAD Designer will create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for fine jewelry pieces, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with brand aesthetics. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design briefs, translating sketches into CAD files, developing construction drawings for production, and collaborating with designers, gem setters, and production teams. The role involves refining designs based on feedback, maintaining organized design files and specifications, and supporting prototype development and quality checks. This is a full-time role. It is a hybrid position based in Jaipur, with primary work on-site and some work-from-home flexibility as project needs allow.
Qualifications
- Ability to create precise jewelry designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Design Engineering skills.
- Strong Drawing and Technical Drawing capabilities for translating concepts into clear digital and technical representations.
- Experience producing accurate Construction Drawings that support manufacturing, casting, and stone setting processes.
- Understanding of jewelry materials, stones, and manufacturing techniques (e.g., casting, setting, polishing).
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software for jewelry (such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar tools).
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work to precise measurements and tolerances.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with design and production teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in jewelry design, industrial design, mechanical design, or a related field is preferred.
