Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Estimator role based in Jaipur. The Cost Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for solar, renewable energy, and integrated power projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor components. Responsibilities include analyzing project specifications and drawings, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and project management teams, and developing accurate budgets and cost forecasts. The role involves monitoring cost trends, supporting tender and bid preparation, evaluating vendor quotations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance. The Cost Estimator will also contribute to post-project cost analysis to improve future estimating practices and support the company’s overall cost management strategy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Cost Management and Cost Control skills to develop, track, and optimize project financials.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Estimation and Budgeting skills to prepare detailed estimates and comprehensive project budgets.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, market prices, and project risks.
- Relevant experience in construction, solar EPC, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and cost estimation or project management software is an advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
