English Communication Trainer – Founder’s Office
Job Description
Embtel Solutions is looking for a confident and experienced English Communication Trainer to join the Founder’s Office and work directly with the Founder and Team.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to improve the English communication of our internal team, particularly their ability to clearly understand and communicate with native English-speaking clients.
A major focus of the position will be word clarity, contextual understanding, and identifying misunderstood words or phrases. Employees may encounter words, expressions, phrases, or terminology used by native English speakers that can have different meanings depending on the context. The trainer will be responsible for helping employees understand these differences and use the correct interpretation in professional conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve employees' English speaking, listening, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Make word clarity and misunderstood-word correction a primary part of the training program.
- Identify words, phrases, expressions, and terminology that employees commonly misunderstand or interpret incorrectly.
- Explain the difference between similar words and expressions and how their meanings change depending on the context.
- Help employees understand the actual meaning and intended meaning of words used by native English-speaking clients.
- Train employees to recognize common English expressions, phrases, idioms, and conversational language used by native speakers.
- Conduct practical exercises based on real-world client conversations and workplace situations.
- Help employees avoid misunderstandings caused by incorrect interpretation of English words or phrases.
- Improve employees' ability to clearly understand what a client is saying before responding.
- Correct pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and inappropriate word usage.
- Improve professional email, message, and written communication skills.
- Conduct one-on-one and group English training sessions.
- Assess employees' current English communication levels and identify individual areas for improvement.
- Provide continuous feedback and track employee progress.
- Work directly with the Founder and CEO to identify communication gaps and develop internal English training programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an IELTS Trainer, English Language Trainer, English Faculty, Spoken English Trainer, or English Communication Trainer.
- Experience working with an IELTS institute, English training academy, language school, or professional training organization is strongly preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong understanding of English vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, sentence structure, and contextual meaning.
- Excellent ability to understand and explain differences in word meanings and context.
- Strong listening and comprehension skills.
- Ability to understand native English communication and explain it clearly to non-native English speakers.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Strong communication, teaching, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify subtle communication and comprehension issues.
- Comfortable working directly with the Founder and CEO.
- Comfortable working the night shift.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the English language, not just fluency.
You should be able to explain why a particular word, phrase, or expression means something in one situation but may mean something completely different in another context.
You will play an important role in helping our employees communicate confidently with native English-speaking clients, understand conversations accurately, avoid misunderstandings, and use professional English appropriately.
