🚨 Hiring: Embedded Tester (SIT) – Medical Device Testing
📍 Location: Alameda, CA (Preferred) / Frisco, TX
💼 Employment Type: Contract
Visa: Independent candidates only – W2 Only | OPT EAD candidates are also welcome, provided the EAD has at least 1 year of remaining validity
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Integration Tester with strong experience in embedded/medical device testing for highly safety-critical handheld medical devices.
🔑 Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in Embedded Software Testing / Integration Testing
- Hands-on experience with C & C++
- Experience with RTOS & Non-RTOS environments
- Experience testing microcontroller-based embedded systems
- Strong understanding of software requirements and design analysis
- Experience creating test plans, test protocols, test scenarios & test cases
- Experience with software code regression analysis
- Experience with custom hardware / embedded hardware
- Strong experience in Medical Device Testing / Safety-Critical Systems
- Experience participating in requirements, design & code reviews
⚠️ Important:
- OPT EAD is accepted if the EAD has at least 1 year of remaining validity
- Candidate must have minimum 2 years of professional experience before completing their Master's degree
- No WFH option – onsite only
- Candidates must have relevant Embedded + Medical Device Testing experience.
- Profiles with primarily Automotive or BFSI testing experience will not be considered.
