Position: Embedded Firmware Engineer - Automotive
Experience: 3 to 8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, test, and debug embedded firmware for automotive ECUs.
- Develop firmware using C/C++ and FreeRTOS/RTOS.
- Work on Embedded Linux Kernel and low-level firmware development.
- Develop CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C communication interfaces.
- Implement UDS diagnostics, DTCs, POST, BIST, fault handling, and safe-state mechanisms.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis.
- Work with CAN/Ethernet, TCP/UDP, and automotive communication systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Embedded Firmware Development
- Strong C/C++ / Embedded C programming
- Embedded Linux / Linux Kernel
- FreeRTOS / RTOS
- CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
- UDS, TCP/IP, UDP, Automotive Ethernet
- ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
- NXP S32G/S32K or similar automotive processors
- Hardware Debugging & Board Bring-up
- Knowledge of Python for automation is an advantage
