Role Description The Elevator Installation Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves installing elevator systems and related components in accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, and company procedures. The technician will read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, perform cabling and wiring, align and assemble mechanical parts, and conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting installation issues, coordinating with supervisors and project teams, and documenting work performed. The role also requires interaction with customers and site representatives to provide clear information on installation progress, address basic service concerns, and support a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong technical abilities in troubleshooting elevator systems and related mechanical and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with cabling, wiring, and basic electrical installation practices.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to support customer satisfaction and teamwork on-site.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related field; prior experience in elevator or lift installation is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, use of tools and test equipment, and adherence to site safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical drawings, follow installation procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Willingness to work at construction sites, travel locally as required, and perform physically demanding tasks.
