Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Electrical Engineers (ITI / Diploma / B.E. Electrical) based in Surat. The role includes inspecting and maintaining electrical systems and equipment at solar power plants, ensuring safe and efficient operation of power distribution and control systems. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting with electrical inspections and testing, monitoring system performance, and documenting work performed. Electrical Engineers will work closely with the O&M team to troubleshoot issues, support breakdown maintenance, and contribute to performance optimization. The position requires adherence to safety standards, accurate reporting, and collaboration with site teams and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a strong understanding of fundamentals and safety practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems and Power Distribution, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar plant electrical infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design related to basic layouts, wiring, and system components used in solar installations.
- ITI, Diploma, or B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of solar power plant operations, inverters, transformers, and protection systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, use testing instruments, and prepare clear maintenance reports.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and teamwork in field environments.
- Willingness to work on-site at solar plants in and around Surat, with flexibility for field travel as needed.
