Company Description Dustech Control Systems & Solutions Private Limited (DCSS) specializes in the design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning of dust suppression systems for industrial plants. The team works closely with plant operators and project stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective dust control solutions.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for dust suppression installations, including panel design, cable sizing, and equipment selection. Daily tasks include preparing electrical drawings and documentation, coordinating with mechanical and project teams, and supporting site installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards, and collaborating with vendors, contractors, and clients. The Electrical Engineer will also assist in project planning, cost estimation, and continuous improvement of electrical design practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of electricity principles and industrial electrical practices.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and preparation of single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems for industrial or plant environments.
- Ability to apply electrical standards, safety codes, and best practices to project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with CAD or electrical design software and basic project documentation tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and site personnel.
- Willingness to visit and work at industrial plant sites as required for installation and commissioning.
