Role Description This full-time Electrical Engineer role is an on-site position based in Mumbai. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and review electrical systems for machinery and power-related projects, including preparing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Daily responsibilities include analyzing power requirements, supporting installation and commissioning activities, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role involves collaborating with project managers, technicians, and other engineers to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in client meetings, provide technical support, and assist in continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including knowledge of electricity and core engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including developing layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems, including low, medium, and high-voltage networks.
- Understanding of Power Systems analysis, protection, and reliability in industrial or commercial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and codes relevant to electrical installations.
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and best practices for electrical work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., CAD for electrical design, basic power system analysis tools) is beneficial.
