Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Devanahalli. The role involves designing electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, including load calculations, power distribution layouts, and equipment selection in line with applicable codes and safety standards. The engineer will prepare detailed drawings and technical documentation, coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and contractors, and support project execution from concept through commissioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, performing technical analysis, resolving site-related design issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of design practices. The role also requires participation in client discussions, providing technical input, and ensuring designs support high efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering, with the ability to translate project requirements into detailed, compliant designs.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Electricity and Power Distribution, including load calculations and system protection.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with relevant electrical codes and standards, and familiarity with MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in electrical design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety and efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients and project stakeholders.
- Prior experience in consultancy, construction, or MEP projects is an advantage.
