Role Description The Education Consultant role at UniEra Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Baku. In this role, the consultant will advise students on academic pathways, university selection, and application strategies for undergraduate and graduate programs. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, reviewing application documents, helping students prepare personal statements and resumes, and providing guidance on standardized tests and language requirements. The consultant will offer support for English as a Second Language needs, coordinate with international institutions when necessary, and maintain accurate records of student progress. The role also involves delivering workshops or information sessions, responding to student and family inquiries, and collaborating with colleagues to improve consulting processes and resources.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to guide students across diverse academic pathways.
- Demonstrated Consulting skills, including needs assessment, solution design, and ongoing advisory support.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and sensitively.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and building long-term relationships with students and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience working in education consulting, student advising, or university admissions is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in handling multiple student cases.
- Fluency in English and local languages relevant to Baku; additional language skills are a plus.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM or student management systems.
