Role Description The E3D Designer – CIVIL will be responsible for creating and updating civil models and drawings in E3D for offshore and onshore pipeline projects, working closely with civil and pipeline engineers. Day-to-day tasks include preparing site layouts, foundations, and structural details, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves reviewing engineering inputs, incorporating design changes, and maintaining accurate documentation to support construction and commissioning activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, requiring close collaboration with project teams and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including foundations, structures, and support systems for pipeline facilities.
- Experience with Site Plans and layout development for onshore and offshore project locations.
- Knowledge of Stormwater and Stormwater Management principles relevant to civil and pipeline projects.
- Understanding of Erosion Control measures and their application in project design and execution.
- Hands-on experience with E3D or similar 3D design tools for civil and structural modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work within cross-functional teams on-site.
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry practices and safety regulations is an advantage.
Onshore E3D Designer & E3D -Auto CAD Designer – Civil
Position: Onshore E3D Designer E3D -Auto CAD Designer – Civil

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Onshore E3D Designer & E3D -Auto CAD Designer – Civil with 10–20 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC engineering projects. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D and AutoCAD, particularly in civil/structural modelling and detailing for onshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D Civil/Structural models using AVEVA E3D for onshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Prepare and develop civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Model civil/structural elements such as foundations, concrete structures, platforms, access ways, equipment foundations, pipe racks and structural supports.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), foundation and structural drawings as per project requirements.
- Develop and extract 2D drawings from 3D E3D models.
- Review design inputs, engineering drawings and project specifications before starting modelling/detailing activities.
- Coordinate with Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical and other disciplines to resolve design/interface issues.
- Check 3D models for clashes, constructability and design consistency.
- Incorporate engineering/client comments and update drawings/models accordingly.
- Prepare MTOs, BOQs and material take-offs wherever required.
- Review vendor drawings and incorporate relevant information into the design.
- Participate in 3D model reviews and interdisciplinary design reviews.
- Ensure drawings and models comply with project specifications, client standards and applicable codes.
- Support the engineering team during design changes and resolve technical queries/RFIs.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- 10–20 years of relevant Civil/Structural Design experience in Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D.
- Good proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong experience in 3D modelling and 2D detailing.
- Experience in onshore Oil & Gas projects, refineries, petrochemical plants, process plants or similar facilities.
- Good understanding of civil and structural design requirements.
- Experience with foundations, structural steel, pipe racks, equipment foundations and associated civil works.
- Good understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and clash checking.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and design inputs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience working on KBR projects or with international EPC clients.
- Experience with large-scale onshore Oil & Gas / refinery / petrochemical projects.
