About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Manager – Doctor Operations to own and manage end-to-end doctor operations. The role involves overseeing DC (doctor consultation) booking and delivery, managing doctor slot availability and allocation, handling customer escalations related to consultations, overseeing doctor panel management, and ensuring accurate and timely doctor payroll processing. The ideal candidate should have strong people management, coordination, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple operational streams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Specifically, this role will involve:
- Managing end-to-end DC (doctor consultation) booking and delivery, ensuring timely scheduling and completion of consultations.
- Handling customer escalations related to consultations, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
- Overseeing doctor management, including onboarding coordination, performance tracking, and day-to-day doctor relationship management.
- Managing doctor slot availability, allocation, and utilization to ensure optimal coverage and minimal booking gaps.
- Coordinating with the finance team for accurate and timely doctor payroll processing, including tracking consultation-based payouts and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinating with internal teams (diagnostics, medicine, doctor panel) to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.
- Identifying process gaps across booking, escalation, and payroll workflows, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Preparing regular performance and operational reports for stakeholders.
Ideal candidate will have:
- 3–4 years of experience in healthcare operations, consultation coordination, scheduling, customer support, or related roles.
- Prior experience in team handling or people management.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets, Docs, and Gmail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle escalations, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, ownership-driven, and process-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred.
