Role Description The Dispatch Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based at the Nashik facility, responsible for overseeing all dispatch operations. Day-to-day tasks include planning and scheduling dispatches, coordinating with production, sales, and logistics teams, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders. The role involves supervising loading and unloading activities, verifying documentation such as invoices and delivery challans, and maintaining dispatch records in line with company procedures. The Dispatch Incharge will monitor inventory levels relevant to dispatch, optimize vehicle utilization, and address any issues related to delays, discrepancies, or customer requirements. The role also includes enforcing safety and compliance standards, supporting continuous improvement in dispatch processes, and communicating regularly with internal stakeholders and external transport partners.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in dispatch planning, scheduling, and coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with documentation, record-keeping, and basic computer operations, including MS Office and dispatch or ERP systems.
- Ability to supervise loading/unloading activities, manage inventory related to dispatch, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with production, sales, logistics teams, and external transport partners.
- Proven ability to handle time-sensitive operations, troubleshoot dispatch issues, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Relevant experience in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain in a manufacturing setup; experience in aluminium or metal industries is an advantage.
- Preferred educational background: diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
- Willingness to work on-site in Nashik and adapt to evolving operational needs in a growing organization.
