Role Description The Customer Care and Dispatcher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, providing shipment updates, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the delivery process. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating vehicle dispatch, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and communicating with drivers and warehouse staff to maintain smooth operations. The individual will log and monitor orders, update systems with status changes, and proactively address delays or issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with internal teams to meet service commitments and performance targets.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally.
- Basic knowledge of logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, including routing, scheduling, and delivery processes.
- Proficiency with computer systems and dispatch or CRM software, and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple orders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to resolve issues, minimize delays, and ensure service quality.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, collaborate effectively with drivers and operational staff, and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Relevant experience in customer support, dispatch, or logistics coordination is preferred; a diploma or degree in logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
