Walk into almost any college in India today and you will find the same thing. Admissions has one system. The exam cell has another. Fees, hostel, library, LMS, each with its own copy of the same student. One student, six records, matched by hand in a spreadsheet at the end of every semester.
Everyone inside that institution knows it is broken. Almost nobody has sat across from their leadership and shown them what one single record looks like instead.
That is the job. You will be the first person from Campx an institution ever meets, and often the first person to show them that this is a solved problem.

The territory is yours
We are opening four positions across West and Central India, one each for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Each one is a clean slate. No inherited account list, no legacy baggage, no one ahead of you in the region. What you build in year one becomes the shape of Campx in that state.
You will spend your weeks on campus, in front of Chairpersons, Vice Chancellors, Directors, Registrars and Deans. You will run the discovery. You will run the walkthrough yourself, on their scenarios, in their language. You will take them from a first conversation to a one-month proof of concept to a rollout across the whole campus, and then watch what you sold actually go live.
What the work looks like
- Build your pipeline from the ground up: campus visits, education forums, association networks, referrals, customer introductions
- Sit with management, understand how the institution really runs, and find the thing that is costing them the most
- Demonstrate Campx and Medha live, shaped to what they care about: admissions volume, examination turnaround, NEP 2020 credit structures, accreditation evidence, fee collection
- Carry the deal through the questions that decide it: migration off legacy systems, DPDP compliance, security, integrations, commercials
- Win consensus across the management office, the exam cell and IT
- Close, hand over cleanly, and stay with the institution through go-live
- Bring what you hear on campus back to the people building the product
Who tends to do well here
You have 4 to 10 years selling enterprise software or SaaS in India, ideally ed-tech, and you have closed deals where five people had to say yes. You run your own demos. You do discovery before you pitch, and you are comfortable telling an institution it is not ready, because we say that too.
You have executive presence without needing a title to back it up. You are patient enough for a long cycle and stubborn enough to keep working it. You can open a door that was never open to you. And you are willing to be on the road, because this business is won on campus, not over email.
Fluent in English and Hindi. Marathi, Gujarati or Rajasthani will serve you well in your territory.
Experience with campus management platforms, an LMS, student information systems or admissions technology is a strong plus. So is an existing network among institution leadership in the region.
Why people stay
