Role Description The Digital Health Doctor will provide clinical expertise for OmniMD’s digital health solutions, ensuring that products, workflows, and protocols align with evidence-based medical practice and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating clinical content, contributing to the design of AI-enabled tools (such as medical scribes and chronic care management workflows), and collaborating with product, engineering, and data science teams to optimize clinical decision support. The role involves interpreting clinical data, advising on remote monitoring and telehealth pathways, and supporting internal and external stakeholders in the safe and effective use of OmniMD solutions. The Digital Health Doctor will also participate in user training, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical documentation refinement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, or other relevant specialty is an advantage.
- Valid medical license/registration and demonstrated clinical experience in outpatient or telehealth settings; prior exposure to digital health, telemedicine, or remote patient monitoring is preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, evidence-based guidelines, and documentation standards, with the ability to translate clinical requirements into structured processes and product features.
- Familiarity with EHR, practice management, and clinical decision support systems; comfort working with AI-enabled tools, data-driven insights, and health informatics concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, including the capacity to review clinical data, identify risks, and propose safe, practical solutions.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (product managers, engineers, data scientists, implementation specialists) and clinical partners.
- Strong orientation toward patient safety, quality of care, and ethical use of digital health technologies; interest in innovation, continuous learning, and improvement of care delivery models.
