We are looking for a Desktop support Engineer for our Mumbai branch.
We're Hiring | IT Support Engineer
Location: Mumbai

Are you a tech-savvy professional who enjoys solving IT challenges and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations? We're looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our growing team and provide end-to-end IT support while managing the organization's IT infrastructure and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support for end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, email accounts, and user access for new joiners.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding IT activities, including system access and device allocation.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and basic network issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, internet services, and IT procurement.
- Maintain IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, monitors, networking devices, and accessories.
- Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including allocation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Monitor software licensing, renewals, subscriptions, and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, support tickets, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure timely backups, antivirus updates, endpoint security, and adherence to IT security policies.
- Provide remote support to branch offices and employees whenever required.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance IT efficiency and user experience.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in IT Support/Desktop Support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and common business applications.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, networking concepts, printers, and peripherals.
- Experience with Active Directory, user management, and access control.
- Knowledge of IT asset management, inventory tracking, and software licensing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified or equivalent will be an added advantage.
