Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Junior Designer will support senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, layouts, and 2D/3D drawings for residential projects. Responsibilities include assisting with material and furniture selection, coordinating vendor visits, and supporting site measurements, supervision, and quality checks. The role involves preparing client presentations, updating design documentation, and ensuring project details are executed as per design intent and timelines. The Junior Designer will collaborate closely with the design team, contractors, and vendors, and may occasionally participate in client meetings and weekend site visits as required.
Qualifications
- Strong design foundation, including space planning, color theory, and understanding of materials and finishes.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 2D/3D software.
- Ability to create mood boards, design presentations, and basic technical drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational skills for managing samples, documentation, and site coordination.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, team members, vendors, and contractors.
- Willingness to work on-site, visit project locations, and support flexible schedules, including occasional weekends.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous internship or junior-level experience in an interior design or architecture firm is an advantage.
