Role Description The Deputy Chief Technology Officer is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Bhubaneswar. This role involves overseeing technology strategy execution, guiding software and product development initiatives, and ensuring that IT architecture aligns with business goals and design-focused operations. The Deputy CTO will collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps, manage cross-functional projects, and drive process improvements that support scalability, quality, and innovation. Daily responsibilities include leading technical teams, monitoring project delivery, evaluating new tools and platforms, and ensuring robust governance, security, and compliance across technology systems. The role also includes mentoring team members, coordinating with external partners, and reporting technology performance and risks to the executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience in building and delivering scalable technology solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in IT Strategy and Architecture, including defining technology roadmaps and designing robust, secure, and efficient systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within design, manufacturing, or related industries, is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on quality, reliability, and customer-centric outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, security best practices, and modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile) will be an advantage.
