Role Description The Chief Technology Officer for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Canada. This role is responsible for defining and executing the company’s overall technology vision to support immigration and visa consulting services, with a focus on scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for Canada-related programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development initiatives, guiding product development for internal platforms and client-facing tools, and designing technology architecture aligned with business goals. The CTO will collaborate closely with senior management to develop IT strategy, manage key technology projects, and ensure that systems enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and client experience. The role also includes leading and mentoring technical teams, establishing best practices, and evaluating emerging technologies that can improve service delivery and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in technology leadership with proven skills in IT Strategy and Architecture.
- Hands-on background in Software Development and Product Development, preferably in service-oriented or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated capability in Project Management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives.
- Ability to align technology roadmaps with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.
- Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary technical teams in fast-paced organizations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with clear and effective communication abilities.
- Prior experience in immigration services, professional consulting, or financial/regulated industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
