This is an entry / junior level computer + systems role inside a tech-enabled manufacturing company. If your background is in production coordination, merchandising, or fashion operations, this is not the right fit - we're hiring someone who understands computers and code.
The role
Think of this role is the bridge between the physical and digital layer of our operation. Physical manufacturing generates data constantly: measurements, fabric lots, QC checkpoints, work orders, approvals, purchase and sales orders - and almost all of it gets lost, duplicated, or written on a scrap of paper. Your job is to make sure it gets captured cleanly, once, at the right moment, and flows to the systems and people that need it.
- Understand and get the data in, correctly. Measurements, fabric lots, QC checks, work orders, client approvals. A lot of this is entry and cleanup, especially in the first few months. We're not going to pretend otherwise — but the point is that you'll be the one who then figures out how to never have to do it manually again.
- Automate your own job away, repeatedly. Every time you catch yourself copying data between two places, that's the next thing to build. Claude is your main tool for this and you'll get better at it fast.
- Learn the floor. Sit with the Production Manager. Watch how a garment actually moves through the studio. You can't design good capture for a process you haven't seen.
- Break our platform before our clients do. We're building our AI enabled creation platform platform right now. You'll run real user journeys through it end to end, work directly with our developer, file proper bug reports, and verify the fixes.
- Build small things. Scripts, dashboards, internal tools. Nothing enormous — but you'll be writing and shipping code most weeks.
Who you are
- You're organized to an unreasonable degree. Spreadsheets, photo capture, documentation - you do anything it takes to capture information. Inconsistent naming conventions bother you personally
- You understand code. Laravel / Supabase preferred. A degree is welcome but not required — a GitHub with real things in it counts for more
- You use Claude or similar daily and have already automated something boring with it
- You find the one row that breaks the sum
- You'll do the boring part to get to the interesting part
- You want to build something that doesn't exist yet. There's no playbook here, and no one above you who's done this before
- You can talk to people who aren't technical. You'll spend real time with tailors and dyers. Hindi helps
- Nice to have: · Supabase/Postgres · QA or user-acceptance testing experience, manual or automated · working alongside developers as the person who breaks things · ERP, MES, or inventory systems · internal tools built for non-technical users · a personal project you built because it annoyed you not to
No apparel or textile background required. We'll teach you the garments; we can't teach you the engineering.
