Role Description The Data Analyst role at Rotaract Club of Thane is a full-time remote position responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data related to club activities, events, membership, and impact metrics. The Data Analyst will prepare reports and dashboards that help leadership evaluate program effectiveness, track participation trends, and support decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include consolidating data from multiple sources, performing statistical analysis, and creating visualizations that communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with project leads to define data requirements, recommending improvements based on findings, and maintaining accurate documentation of methods and results.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Statistics to perform quantitative analysis, measure impact, and validate data-driven conclusions.
- Candidates should possess experience in Data Modeling to structure data effectively and support reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to present findings, create concise reports, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau or similar) and basic database concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects is required.
- Previous experience in a non-profit, volunteer, or community-focused setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A degree or ongoing studies in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
