Role Description The Data Analyst role at Stellar Certify is a full-time remote position responsible for transforming raw data into clear insights that support business decisions. Day-to-day work includes collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources; building and maintaining dashboards and reports; and performing exploratory and diagnostic analyses to answer key business questions. The Data Analyst collaborates with product, operations, and leadership teams to define metrics, monitor performance, and recommend data-driven improvements to certification and verification workflows. The role also involves documenting methodologies, presenting findings in accessible formats, and contributing to the development of data standards and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and practical experience in Data Analytics.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Statistics and the ability to apply statistical methods to real-world data problems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Data Modeling, including designing efficient data structures and translating business requirements into models.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with common data tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) and familiarity with a programming language for analysis (e.g., Python or R).
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Experience in certification, compliance, or other data-sensitive industries, as well as working in cross-functional teams, is a plus.
