Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Analyst role based in Kanpur. The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting and analysis. The role involves building dashboards and reports, performing exploratory data analysis, and developing data models that support business decision-making. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions, communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, and recommend data-driven improvements. Additional responsibilities include supporting data governance, documenting analytical processes, and staying current with best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Solid foundation in Statistics to design analyses, validate results, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Data Modeling to structure data for reporting, dashboards, and predictive analysis.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, and at least one analytics or BI platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python or R) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate in a team environment, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
