Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Creative Writer role based in Chennai. The Creative Writer will craft compelling concepts, narratives, and copy that support VFX projects, marketing materials, and client communications. Daily tasks include developing story ideas, writing scripts and treatments, creating web and promotional content, and adapting complex technical information into engaging, accessible language. The role involves close collaboration with VFX supervisors, artists, and production teams to ensure written content aligns with visual direction and brand voice. The Creative Writer will also conduct research to strengthen storytelling, maintain consistency across communication channels, and meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Writing and Creative Writing skills for scripts, concepts, and marketing content.
- Candidates should possess Web Content Writing skills for websites, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with creative, technical, and production teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to inform storytelling, understand client needs, and reference industry trends.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in English, Creative Writing, Communication, Film, Media, or related fields are beneficial.
- Familiarity with VFX, animation, or post-production workflows and terminology is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to feedback and iterative revisions are highly valued.
