Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Script Writer (Reels) role based in Chennai. The Script Writer will develop concise, engaging scripts for short-form video content, including reels and similar formats, tailored to various platforms and audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming concepts with the creative and production teams, drafting and refining scripts, adapting ideas to different visual styles, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role involves collaborating closely with video producers, editors, and designers to optimize scripts for pacing, visual impact, and audience engagement. The Script Writer will also research trends, analyze performance of previous content, and continuously refine storytelling approaches for AI-enabled creative workflows.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong scriptwriting and scripting skills for short-form video content.
- Candidates should possess experience in writing screenplays or structured narrative formats.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with video production processes and collaboration with production teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent writing skills, including clear, concise, and engaging storytelling.
- Relevant qualifications include a background in media, communications, film, literature, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret briefs, adapt to brand tone, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, reel trends, and audience behavior is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative studio setting in Chennai, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
